About The Position

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a PRN Surgical Technologist in its Surgery department. The Surgical Technologist maintains the sterile field and instrumentation for surgical procedures and prepares the operating room and supplies for each case. The role communicates with other members of the Perioperative team to provide care according to AORN standards during the intraoperative period. The technologist collaborates with coworkers, stocks and orders department supplies, and provides additional supportive patient care as directed by others.

The listed compensation range is $37.32–$59.70 per hour. Night and weekend shift differentials of up to $10 per hour are available. Final compensation depends on qualifications, including relevant experience, formal education, and professional certifications.

Requirements

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist in Colorado, or ability to obtain it before the start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS); may be obtained upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of recent operating room experience.
• Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST).
• Bilingual Spanish skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the sterile field and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
