About The Position
Seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Cardiovascular OR at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a dayshift schedule. The role involves working as part of a team to deliver surgical care, anticipating the surgeon's needs to ensure smooth and efficient procedures. The Cardiovascular OR is a specialized unit with dedicated cardiovascular surgery suites and a hybrid OR, focusing on coronary artery bypass surgery, minimally invasive coronary artery bypass, and valve reconstruction and replacement procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) within one year of hire OR 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
Nice To Haves
- One year OR experience preferred.
