About The Position
Seeking a Surgical Technologist to work as part of a team delivering surgical care in the Cardiovascular OR at Baptist Health Floyd. The goal is to anticipate the surgeon's needs to ensure procedures are smooth and efficient. The CVOR is an Open-Heart specific operating room with two dedicated cardiovascular surgery suites and a hybrid OR, specializing in coronary artery bypass surgery, minimally invasive coronary artery bypass, and valve reconstruction and replacement procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) within one year of hire OR 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
Nice To Haves
- One year OR experience preferred.
