About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to serve in ambulatory surgery at our Miller Hill Surgery Center in Duluth, Minnesota. This CST works 32 hours weekly on day shift. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. Schedule is generally 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off. Actual start and end times will vary. Relocation assistance is available for this position. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the Operating Room to patients of all ages.
• Responsible for tasks relating to instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the department.
