About The Position
Join the Ambulatory Surgery Center at the Plaza as a Surgical Technologist supporting outpatient procedures. The role contributes to exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experiences in a comfortable outpatient surgery environment that uses the latest technology. The Surgical Technologist visually assesses patients’ conditions, maintains sterile techniques, ensures accurate counts throughout surgery, and assembles and prepares sutures, instruments, and supplies. The technologist also passes these items to surgeons and assistants. This is a full-time position scheduled for 63 hours every two weeks, Monday through Friday. Shifts vary from 8 to 10 hours and take place between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. No weekends or holidays are required.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider Card.
- Basic knowledge of surgical technologist duties and responsibilities.
Nice To Haves
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
Responsibilities
