About The Position
Join the Ambulatory Surgery Center at the Plaza as a Surgical Technologist supporting outpatient procedures. The center provides a comfortable environment for outpatient surgery and is committed to exceptional clinical outcomes, a superior patient experience, and the use of the latest technology. The schedule is part-time, 54 hours every two weeks, Monday through Friday, with various 8- to 10-hour shifts between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. No weekends or holidays are required. Starting pay is $30.07 per hour, with a stated range of $30.07–$45.10 per hour; exact pay depends on years of related experience. Eligible candidates may receive a hiring bonus of up to $2,500 or tuition reimbursement of up to $5,000, and eligible candidates may receive a $5,000 relocation bonus. Part-time benefits include medical and dental coverage, PTO, retirement, employee discounts, and more. Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs are also available. Incentives may be discontinued at any time. Bonus eligibility requires employment in an eligible benefited full- or part-time position, no CentraCare employment during at least the prior nine months, and applicable distance requirements for the relocation bonus.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider Card.
- Basic knowledge of surgical technologist duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Visually assess patients' conditions.
- Maintain sterile techniques.
- Ensure accurate counts throughout surgery.
- Assemble and prepare sutures, instruments, and supplies.
- Pass sutures, instruments, and supplies to surgeons and assistants.
