About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Main Surgery Department. This role requires outstanding clinical skills, the ability to multitask, stay organized, and deliver excellent care in an efficient and compassionate manner. The Inpatient Surgery department consists of 17 suites covering a wide range of specialties including Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Bariatric, GYN, Robotic, Vascular, Endovascular, Urology, Plastics, and General cases. The department performs a combination of inpatient and outpatient procedures, primarily on an adult population, with an average of 850 procedures monthly. The team operates on a specialty team-based practice model to ensure consistent, knowledgeable, and experienced staff. The Surgical Tech will be responsible for setting up sterile supplies and assisting surgeons.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based training program.
  • Surgical Technologist licensure in the State of Washington required.
  • Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.
  • One - two years of OR experience preferred.
