About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician II to join their team. This role involves assisting optometrists in providing high-quality patient care, performing various diagnostic tests, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. The position is 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) and operates on weekdays during the day, with no weekend or holiday work required. The technician will contribute to providing a quality optical experience for patients and guests and may have opportunities to assist at various Emplify optometry locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 3-4 years relevant work experience
• One year of experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant working with an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certified by JCAHPO
• Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certified by JCAHPO within 18 months of hire date
