Surgical Technologists play a vital role in supporting surgeons and RNs throughout operative procedures, helping ensure high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery. In this position within the Ophthalmology Surgical Center, responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile fields, checking supplies and equipment, passing instruments, and supporting proper sterilization processes following procedures. This role supports a variety of eye surgeries and procedures in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. It offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in the operating room while contributing to positive outcomes for patients and caregivers. You’ll be part of a growing workspace with Cole Eye at Main, working alongside a collaborative team with a strong, supportive culture. This caregiver role is a day shift position with required on-call coverage. During the 3-month orientation period, the schedule is Monday-Friday, from 7am-3:30pm After orientation, the assigned shift will be from 10am-8:30pm The required on-call rotation includes: -Two call shifts per month (weeknight or weekend) -One to two holidays per year The Main Campus call response time is one hour
