About The Position
The Surgical Technologist role at Clemmons Surgery Center is a full-time position responsible for ensuring quality patient care, safety, and advocacy. This role involves critical thinking, anticipation and management of case-specific needs under the supervision of an RN. The technologist is responsible for the complete, accurate, and timely care, cleanliness, and management of instruments, equipment, and supplies. Effective, positive, and professional communication with the multidisciplinary team, co-workers, and patients is essential. The position also requires taking personal responsibility for performance, professional growth, and development, as well as demonstrating cost containment activities for instruments and inventory.
Requirements
- Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Functions effectively under stressful and difficult situations

Responsibilities
