About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting during surgical operations, ensuring that the operating room is adequately prepared and that quality patient care is delivered.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required

Nice To Haves

• Relevant acute care experience: Preferred
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists: Preferred
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including arranging sterile instruments and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain proper sterilization techniques and procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by providing instruments and supplies as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety protocols at all times.
