About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with extensive experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional surgical support and patient care. This role is within a busy cardiovascular surgical environment that emphasizes high-quality patient care and safety. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced setting with a commitment to surgical excellence. This role does not serve as a training facility for medical staff.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Extensive CVOR experience
• At least 2 prior travel assignments

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in first assist techniques

Responsibilities

• Assisting with various procedures including CABG, valve replacements, VAD insertions, TAVR, VATS, lobectomies, pacemaker/AICD insertions, and other cardiovascular surgeries.
• Preparing and maintaining the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and effective surgical outcomes.
• Adhering to facility policies and surgical protocols.
