Plastic Surgery, both reconstructive and cosmetic, is dedicated to the restoration of function and form. Cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery have the power to repair, restore and renew the body’s form and function. Surgical Technologists play a vital role in supporting surgeons and RNs throughout operative procedures, helping ensure high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery. In this position within the Ophthalmology Surgical Center, responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile fields, checking supplies and equipment, passing instruments, and supporting proper sterilization processes following procedures. A caregiver in this position works full-time. Orientation is 3 months, M-F 7:00am-3:30pm. After orientation, the shift will be assigned and either 8s or 10s, and will require being on call (call schedule is discussed during interview).
