About The Position
A hospital outside Butte, Montana is seeking a Surgical Technician to join its Peri-Operative Services team. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position with a Monday–Friday schedule of five 8-hour day shifts and an on-call rotation approximately once every three weeks. The hourly pay range is $22.37–$29.82. The hospital is recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital for clinical excellence and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- NBSTSA Surgical Technologist certification.
- Experience with medical terminology and electronic medical records.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and protect the surgical field throughout procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and assist during operative procedures.
- Support the perioperative nursing team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Maintain surgical readiness and compliance with established policies and procedures.
