About The Position

Scrubs for surgical procedures and prepares the surgical field based upon the specific procedure and surgeon's preference. Performs duties adhering to stringent standards of aseptic techniques and in accordance with Operating Room and hospital policies and procedures. Certification requirement is only for those individuals hired after December 29, 2020.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Operating Room Technician training program that includes on-the-job training Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
• Basic Life Support Required
• Certification as Operating Room Tech Required or Certification as Surgical Tech Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in an operating room Preferred
