Surgical Technician
About The Position
The Surgical Technician plays a vital role in surgeries. This role will proficiently scrub on a variety of surgical cases and maintain asepsis. The Technician assists the circulating nurse with patient care, and when on call will assist in sterile processing and instrument processing. Our ideal Surgical Technician is service-oriented, providing good customer service to operating room personnel and other departments throughout the hospital. They should be knowledgeable about surgical instruments, surgical procedures, and surgical asepsis, as well as the sterilization process and basic principles of sterilization. The ideal candidate is excited to provide excellent care to our patients!
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in the OR
- Surgical Technician Certification
