Surgical Technician - Surgery General
About The Position
As a member of the surgical team, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, maintains the operating room sterile field; passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery. Insures that proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection. Assists the registered nurse with circulating duties. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program
- National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire OR Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
