About The Position
Full Time, Rotate The Operating Room Surgical Technician assists with surgical instruments in the OR based on procedure performed, standards, guidelines, and policies set for the unit. He/she functions under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and surgeon.
Requirements
- HS diploma
- Graduate of approved surgical tech school, unless LPN with a minimum of 2 years surgical experience
- American Heart Association BLS
Nice To Haves
- Experience in OR or SPD
Responsibilities
- Assists with surgical instruments in the OR based on procedure performed, standards, guidelines, and policies set for the unit.
- Functions under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and surgeon.
