Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain after hire)

Nice To Haves

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
Previous surgical or operating room experience is welcomed but not required

Responsibilities

Prepare and organize sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
Maintain sterile technique throughout operative cases
Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs during surgery
Pass instruments and supplies efficiently to support operative flow
Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and transport
Perform surgical counts and support patient safety initiatives
Clean and reset operating rooms between procedures
Follow infection prevention and regulatory standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and perioperative staff to ensure excellent patient care
