About The Position
The Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting in surgeries, preparing the operating room, and maintaining sterile conditions within the OR. The role requires experience with various surgical procedures and equipment.
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA Certificate
- Experience with trauma, ortho, and general surgical cases
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment within the operating room.
- Ensure surgical equipment is sterile and functioning properly.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency.
