About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Surgical Technologist at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. This role involves caring for Military Families and offers a Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift schedule with on-call responsibilities one weekend per month. If called in, the candidate must report within 30 minutes.
Requirements
- One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation.
- Graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program OR an ABHES-accredited program OR completion of a formal training program provided by any U.S. Armed Forces for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.
- Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA OR Certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from NCCT.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical technologist services.
- Care for Military Families.
- Be available for on-call duties one weekend per month.
- Report within 30 minutes if called in during on-call hours.
