About The Position
Our client, an Integrated Health System company, is looking for a Surgical Tech - Ortho for their Peoria, IL location. This role involves assisting in orthopedic surgical procedures.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Graduated from an Associates Surgical Technologist Program or completed training in the military
- 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
- Some Orthopedic experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EPIC Optime EMR (though rarely used, printed preference cards are available)
Responsibilities
- Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures including total joint replacements (knee, shoulder), arthroscopies (knee, shoulder, hips, wrists), hand surgeries, pediatric surgeries, and trauma/fracture cases.
