About The Position

This is a full-time Surgical Tech III position in the Main Operating Room with rotating shifts. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a surgical technologist technical training program or equivalent experience, and significant experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting, with specialization in multiple areas. A current CPR card is also required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of a surgical technologist technical training program is required. Eighteen (18) months of scrub tech experience in an acute care operating room may substitute for the training program requirement.
• Four (4) years of acute surgical technologist experience is required.
• Three (3) of the above years of experience must include specialized experience to develop proficiency in three (3) or more specialty areas (i.e., orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, etc.).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) issued through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.
