About The Position

This is a part-time, regular employee status position with a 0.5 FTE, working 20 hours per week. The expected starting pay range is $16.50 - $19.80, based on experience, skills, and equity. Additional pay and benefits may apply. The role involves providing competent clinical, technical, scientific, administrative, and/or supportive services in accordance with CCHMC policy and department needs. The position requires adherence to all department standards and a strong focus on customer service, collaboration, and data management. Training is a significant component, requiring completion of coursework and active engagement in all aspects of the training program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Eligible for admission/enrollment in position/function certification program (as applicable)
  • Must maintain satisfactory performance AND successfully complete all job-specific training as defined by program guidelines
  • Obtain program-specific certification/licensure AND register with all applicable governing body by date specified in program guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Provide competent clinical, technical, scientific, administrative and/or supportive services based on CCHMC policy, best practice guidelines and/or department needs as defined in program-specific guidelines.
  • Perform all assigned duties and comply with all department clinical, research, operational, and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a customer advocate and strives to meet the needs of, and to support, patients, families, and/or colleagues.
  • Utilize a customer focus to complete assignments and/or interact with others in a courteous, attentive, and conscientious manner.
  • Respond quickly to requests and concerns.
  • Provide appropriate education/information to others.
  • Provide flexible, culturally competent, and responsive care to the needs of the patient and family, as applicable.

  • Properly maintain patient files, records and other information.
  • Demonstrate adherence to established documentation practices with accurate and detailed data entry and document management.
  • Complete all coursework in the specific discipline within the assigned deadline, engage in all aspects of training, and approach the training with an inquisitive and professional demeanor.
