About The Position
SCA Health is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) at Northbank Surgical Center. The role supports operative and other invasive procedures by functioning as a scrub person, preparing and transporting instruments for decontamination, and helping clean and prepare procedure rooms between patients. The listed pay range is USD $38.50–$42.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Successful completion of a BLS course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Current Surgical Technologist certification.
Responsibilities
- Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
- Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to decontamination areas.
- Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and prepare the room for subsequent patients.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
