About The Position
This role involves providing support in a high-acuity, nationally-recognized Cardiovascular and Thoracic program. The ideal candidate will need to have CV experience and be prepared to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 3 years of cardiovascular scrub experience, with the capability to go "on bypass."
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification via NBSTSA and BLS certification.
- All shifts coverage experience with the ability to flex as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform scrubbing duties for a variety of cardiovascular procedures including CABG, MVR, AVR, and more.
- Coordinate with approximately 25 surgeons, utilizing general OR knowledge to adapt to different surgical styles.
- Participate in mandatory call/standby requirements with a response time of 30 minutes.
