About The Position

The Central Sterile Surgical Supply Tech is an integral member of the Sterile Processing team. As part of the Central Supply team, the Support Tech helps increase customer and physician satisfaction by providing customer service in accordance with the values of Mercy Health Services. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
• Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
• Flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to function effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Materials management experience preferred.
