About The Position

This is a full-time, 100% FTE position. Scheduled hours are 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. The Surgical Services Supply Clerk will effectively and efficiently fulfill all requests for medical/surgical supplies, ensuring they are readily available to all clinicians in the UW Hospital operating rooms. This role supports Surgical Services by utilizing the Materials Management system and bar code technology for various materials management activities. The clerk will also ensure that all emergency carts are complete and urgently deliver patient medical equipment when needed. Additionally, the position requires demonstrating technical ability and adherence to job expectations and organizational policies/procedures.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Materials management experience in any industry (Required). Healthcare experience not required.

Nice To Haves

One year materials management experience in a healthcare environment (Preferred)

Responsibilities
