About The Position

We are seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians (SPT) for a busy Level One trauma facility. Candidates must be experienced in all areas of the department, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization processes, HLD/Scope experience, sterile storage, OR liaison, Censitrac tracking, and Medivator experience. This role requires candidates who have worked in a similar high-volume facility.

Requirements

• Experienced with all areas of the department
• Medivator experience required
• Must have either CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM)
• Must have worked in a facility similar to OSU (Level One trauma facility)
• Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible for return anywhere in the system.
• Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Drills, Davinci, scopes
• Experience with Trauma, loaners, peel packaging
• Experience with sterrad and steam sterilization
• Experience with HLD/Scopes
• Experience with Sterile Storage
• OR Liaison experience
• Censitrac Tracking system experience

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes)
• Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included)
• Sterilization process (sterrad and steam)
• HLD/ Scope experience
• Sterile Storage
• OR Liaison experience
• Censitrac Tracking system experience
• Medivator experience
