About The Position

We are seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians (SPT) for a busy Level One trauma facility. This role requires proficiency in all areas of the department, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, sterile storage, and OR liaison duties. Experience with specific equipment and tracking systems is essential. Candidates must have prior experience in a similar high-volume hospital environment.

Requirements

• Experience with all areas of the department
• Experience with Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes)
• Experience with Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included)
• Experience with Sterilization process (sterrad and steam)
• HLD/ Scope experience
• Experience with Sterile Storage
• OR Liaison experience
• Censitrac Tracking system experience
• Medivator experience required
• Must have worked in a facility similar to OSU (Level One trauma facility)
• Must have previous permanent staff or return traveler experience
• Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the care site address

Nice To Haves

• Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible for return anywhere in the system.
• Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments.
