About The Position

We are seeking a Surgical Services Preference Card Coordinator to apply advanced perioperative clinical knowledge to support a centralized and standardized process to review the procedure file, surgeons’ preference cards (DPCs), and the surgical equipment and supply lists. This role requires demonstrating an understanding of surgical instrumentation, supplies, and workflows to maintain accurate supply pick lists and develop new preference cards in collaboration with perioperative leadership. The coordinator will also utilize data analysis skills to identify opportunities for standardization, cost savings, waste reduction, and improved operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Graduate from accredited school of nursing or accredited surgical technology program Required
  • 2 years of operating room experience Required
  • Registered Nurse or graduate of certified Surgical Technology program Required

Nice To Haves

  • Care Team Leader or Surgical Resource Technician Experience Preferred
  • Certified Nurse of the operation Room (CNOR) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). Preferred
