About The Position

This is a variable shift position for an OR Tech / Surgical Tech. The traveler will work nights, 8s, 10s, or 12s. Call is required Monday through Friday from 2100 to 0630. On Saturdays and Sundays, the shift is 12 hours from 1900 to 0630 with call. Holiday and weekend coverage may also be required based on unit needs. The role requires experience in Neurosurgery, Spine, Complex Ortho/Ortho Spine, and Complex General Surgery including Bariatric surgery. There is a weekend requirement in addition to call.

Requirements

• 3 years of OR Surgical Tech experience required.
• Experience in Neurosurgery.
• Experience in Spine surgery.
• Experience in Complex Ortho/Ortho Spine surgery.
• Experience in Complex General Surgery, including Bariatric surgery.
• BCLS certification required.
• Experience in Level I Trauma.
• Experience in Neuro.

Nice To Haves

• Prior travel experience preferred.
• EPIC preferred.
• Experience in ENT/GU/PLASTICS/BURNS.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technology support during various shifts, including nights and 12-hour shifts.
• Be available for on-call duties during specified hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist in complex surgical procedures, including Neurosurgery, Spine, Complex Ortho/Ortho Spine, and Complex General Surgery (including Bariatric surgery).
• Cover unit needs for holiday and weekend shifts as required.
