About The Position

Traveler needs to stay within 30-minutes of the facility to be able to respond to call as expected. This position is in an Endoscopy Tech role, working a shift from 0630 to 5 PM. The role requires being on call 1 day per week, Monday through Thursday, and every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Responsibilities include rotating through the scope cleaning and reprocessing room and assisting physicians. The traveler may need to float within scope to meet facility needs, but this is highly unlikely. The facility is an Acute Care Hospital with 75 total staffed beds. Scrubs provided are Navy Blue, and charting is done via Epic. Parking is free with a pass. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience.
• BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes of the facility.
• Must be available for on-call duties 1 day per week (Monday-Thursday) and every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
