About The Position
Under direct supervision, the Surgical Services Assistant completes tasks according to skill level to assist surgery personnel in providing nursing care and surgical services to patients in the operating room area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- BLS certified. Required certification must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course.
- Previous Nurse aide and/or phlebotomy experience in acute care setting.
