Oncology Physician - Surgical
About The Position
Tenet Healthcare is seeking a talented Surgical Oncologist to lead the way in providing exceptional surgical oncology care in El Paso, Texas. The physician will join The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus, a 500-bed facility with a dedicated Cancer Program, including an inpatient unit, outpatient infusion services, and a one-call patient navigator system. Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board eligible or board certified in Surgical Oncology
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical oncology care to patients.
- Conduct 2-3 clinic days per week, averaging 15 patients per day.
- Perform 2-3 surgical days per week, with approximately 5-7 cases per week, with potential for volume increase.
- Participate in optional General Surgery call 3-4 days per month.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless, coordinated care.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the surgical oncology practice.
