About The Position

DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Surgical Innovation Manager to lead strategic commercial initiatives across the Sports Surgical portfolio in the Boston-to-New York City territory. This commercial leadership role owns the strategy, planning, coordination, and execution of priority innovation initiatives across an assigned geography. The manager translates enterprise and business-unit objectives into field plans, aligns cross-functional partners, leads product launches and strategic programs, tracks results, resolves barriers, and provides recommendations to leadership. The role leads complex work through influence rather than direct authority and partners with commercial leaders, distributors, customers, and internal teams to support compliant growth, competitive conversions, and sustained portfolio adoption. The manager is responsible for regional commercial strategy and operating plans, launch readiness, account evaluations and conversions, portfolio growth, field education, governance, customer engagement, and professional education strategies. The position also develops partnerships with academic medical centers, fellowship programs, professional societies, and future orthopedic leaders. Candidates must live within 90 minutes of an airport in the assigned geography and be able to travel 50–75% within the United States. The anticipated base pay range is $114,000–$182,850. Subject to plan terms, employees may participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan and 401(k), and this position is eligible for the long-term incentive program. Listed time-off benefits include vacation, sick time, holiday pay, work/personal/family time, parental leave, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, and military spouse time-off. Following the planned separation of the Orthopaedics business, the role is anticipated to become an employee of DePuy Synthes, with employment governed by its Orthopaedics processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.
