Thomson Reuters•Washington, DC
•$100,100 - $185,900

About The Position

The Innovation Delivery Manager is the operational lead for how Legal Professionals launches, releases, and commercializes products. The role turns strategy into executable plans and coordinates Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations around shared priorities, timelines, readiness, and follow-through. It manages the execution engine that takes products from decision to market and from market to scale, while offering exposure to growth, AI commercialization, and business-building. The position owns launch planning and operating rhythms, tracks progress and readiness across workstreams, identifies and resolves dependencies and risks, and supports post-launch stabilization. It also contributes research and analysis for growth initiatives and supports executive reviews, steering committees, and investment discussions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in program management, go-to-market execution, product commercialization, or operations, ideally including a full product lifecycle from concept through scale.
  • Proven ability to build processes, operating models, or launch frameworks from scratch and scale them across teams or organizations.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align and influence senior leaders, peer teams, and direct reports without direct authority over all parties.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, synthesize complex information, and make sound decisions without perfect data.
  • Results-oriented record of delivering outcomes on time and to quality, breaking strategic goals into executable plans, and holding teams accountable to milestones.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building a process or operating model from an initial blank page into a functioning system scaled across teams or functions.
  • Experience driving a complex cross-functional initiative from ambiguity through completion, including managing dependencies, sequencing work, and resolving blockers.
  • Ability to identify and take ownership of resolving significant risks, dependencies, or gaps early, without waiting for escalation.
  • Experience influencing senior or peer stakeholders to align on priorities, tradeoffs, or decisions without direct authority.
  • Experience crafting executive updates, business cases, or briefings that surface options or implications and drive leadership decisions.
  • Experience defining how to assess whether a project, process, or deliverable is complete beyond a technical checklist.
  • Experience in SaaS, LegalTech, or fast-moving technology environments.
  • Genuine interest in how AI is changing professional work.

Responsibilities

  • Turn launch strategy into detailed plans with timelines, workstreams, milestones, and deliverables; assign and track cross-functional work.

  • Hold functions accountable to shared clarity and deadlines.
  • Map dependencies, sequence work, surface risks, and partner with teams to escalate and resolve issues through closure.
  • Maintain an accurate, current view of launch status and milestone progress across workstreams for decision-making.
  • Own the launch operating rhythm, including weekly workstream meetings, cross-functional syncs, and readiness reviews, to drive decisions and momentum.
  • Track completion and quality of launch readiness components, including sales plays and enablement, marketing content, pricing and packaging, onboarding, and support.
  • Drive post-launch stabilization by monitoring early adoption, gathering feedback from go-to-market and customer-facing teams, closing gaps, and ensuring visibility into results.
  • Contribute initial analysis, research, and dependency mapping for growth initiatives and help shape commercialization approaches and launch models.
  • Support executive reviews, steering committees, and investment discussions by helping leaders understand how ideas progress from concept to business case to funded launch.
