About The Position

High Lakes Gynecology, part of Praxis Health, is seeking a BE/BC Gynecologist to join our established surgical gynecology practice in Bend, Oregon. This role is 100% gynecology, with no obstetrics, combining office-based care with gynecologic surgery. We're looking for a residency-trained OB/GYN who is a confident and skilled surgeon to join our team. Fellowship training in either minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) or urogynecology is a plus but not required. Our patients present with the full range of benign gynecologic conditions, so the right candidate should be comfortable managing and surgically treating: Abnormal uterine bleeding, adenomyosis, and uterine fibroids, Endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, Pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence (a plus but not required), Infertility work-up and management, Complex and routine hysterectomy, Hysteroscopic and other minimally invasive procedures. Experience with robotic and/or advanced laparoscopic technique is valued, as is interest in incorporating office-based ultrasound to further characterize gynecologic conditions. New graduates with strong surgical training from residency, as well as experienced surgeons, are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • BE/BC Surgical Gynecologist
  • Active medical license in Oregon (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Residency-trained OB/GYN
  • Confident and skilled surgeon
  • Comfortable managing and surgically treating a range of benign gynecologic conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS)
  • Fellowship training in urogynecology
  • Experience with robotic and/or advanced laparoscopic technique
  • Interest in incorporating office-based ultrasound

Responsibilities

  • Combine office-based care with gynecologic surgery
  • Manage and surgically treat abnormal uterine bleeding, adenomyosis, and uterine fibroids
  • Manage and surgically treat endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain
  • Manage and surgically treat pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence
  • Perform infertility work-up and management
  • Perform complex and routine hysterectomy
  • Perform hysteroscopic and other minimally invasive procedures
  • Incorporate office-based ultrasound to further characterize gynecologic conditions
