About The Position

High Lakes Gynecology, part of Praxis Health, is seeking a BE/BC Gynecologist to join our established surgical gynecology practice in Bend, Oregon. This role is 100% gynecology, with no obstetrics, combining office-based care with gynecologic surgery. Our patients present with the full range of benign gynecologic conditions, so the right candidate should be comfortable managing and surgically treating: Abnormal uterine bleeding, adenomyosis, and uterine fibroids, Endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, Pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence (a plus but not required), Infertility work-up and management, Complex and routine hysterectomy, Hysteroscopic and other minimally invasive procedures. Experience with robotic and/or advanced laparoscopic technique is valued, as is interest in incorporating office-based ultrasound to further characterize gynecologic conditions. New graduates with strong surgical training from residency, as well as experienced surgeons, are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

BE/BC Gynecologist
Residency-trained OB/GYN who is a confident and skilled surgeon
Active medical license in Oregon (or ability to obtain)
Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
Current CPR/AED certification

Nice To Haves

Fellowship training in either minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) or urogynecology
Experience with robotic and/or advanced laparoscopic technique
Interest in incorporating office-based ultrasound

Responsibilities

Combine office-based care with gynecologic surgery
Manage and surgically treat abnormal uterine bleeding, adenomyosis, and uterine fibroids
Manage and surgically treat endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain
Manage and surgically treat pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence (a plus but not required)
Manage and surgically treat infertility work-up and management
Perform complex and routine hysterectomy
Perform hysteroscopic and other minimally invasive procedures
Incorporate office-based ultrasound to further characterize gynecologic conditions
