Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in Healthcare or Medical Office setting is required.

Nice To Haves

• Computer data entry and insurance authorization experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules surgeries and office appointments for all physicians in the practice.
• Updates patients and physicians on any schedule changes.
• Obtains insurance authorizations, pre-certifications, and verifications of patient medical and surgical benefits for all procedures.
• Collects surgical co-payments.
