About The Position

The Surgical Clinical Office Assistant (COA) is responsible for performing a variety of duties within a clinical setting to ensure the smooth operation of a medical office and related surgical/procedural activities. This role involves coordinating patient appointments, surgeries, other procedures, and ancillary testing. The COA also provides academic and/or transcription support and serves as a primary interface between surgeons and patients.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma
  • 2+ years experience in a clerical setting
  • Demonstrated customer service experience

Nice To Haves

  • Equivalent college coursework in the secretarial or medical sciences
  • Experience in a medical environment

Responsibilities
