About The Position

The Surgical/Clinical Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations and floats between the Irving and Southlake clinics. The role builds connections with DOC guests and demonstrates tenacious caring through communication, helpfulness, and attentiveness to individual needs. The coordinator manages physician surgical and clinic schedules and supports physicians and clinical teams with efficient surgical coordination, guest education, insurance processes, and other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Manage physician surgical and clinic schedules.
Engage with guests in an empathetic and caring manner.
Coordinate surgical schedules efficiently in support of physicians and the clinical team.
Coordinate with anesthesia providers, instrumentation vendors, and ancillary services.
Manage facility operating room block time.
Explain benefits and provide insurance education to guests and their families.
Prepare surgical estimates, collect guest responsibility, and arrange payments according to DOC policies and procedures.
Facilitate pre-operative clearance.
Obtain insurance authorization.
Support the surgical and clinical team with other tasks as assigned.
