Requirements

Sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.
Definite interest in the field of health and high-tech devices.
Comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365.
Ability to connect with others and quickly build trust.
Excellent communication skills.
Speak English and French (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients).
Available to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 am until the end of the surgery schedule.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of EMR systems is an asset.
Experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometric assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).

Responsibilities

Work closely with the ophthalmologist; anticipate their actions while following protocols.
Coordinate each intervention.
Prepare the room and its tools before the procedure.
Become a specialist in the tools and technologies used in intraocular procedures.
Work on your feet in the operating room.
Work with precision and accuracy.
