About The Position
Contributes to the team by assisting the physician with the performance of surgical procedures and instruments.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Tech who meets eligibility requirements to test for CFA.
- Certification in Surgical Technology and CFA, or obtains within one (1) year of employment.
- Minimum of two (2) years training in surgical technology from a comparable medical institution.
- Basic knowledge of duties and responsibilities of the Surgical Technician.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers in a professional manner.
- Ability to learn procedures, instruments, and techniques.
Nice To Haves
- Certified First Assist.
- Completion of wound closure class.
