About The Position
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a part-time Surgery Tech for our Operating Room. The Surgical Technician is to assist the surgeon to the completion of each operation safely and efficiently. The individual must possess skills and competencies necessary to provide nursing care to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric. This position will serve in the role as a surgical technician in the Operating Room, mainly assisting with surgical procedures, endoscopy procedures, dental procedures and assisting where needed in the capacity of a surgical technician.
Requirements
- Completed an approved training course in Surgical Technology.
- 1 year experience in an Operating Room setting.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in Surgical Technology preferred.
