Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Scrub Technician program
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Previous healthcare or surgical experience
Responsibilities
- Preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures
- Assisting with sterile surgical procedures as part of the surgical team
- Decontaminating, sterilizing, storing, and distributing sterile instruments and patient care supplies
- Maintaining and monitoring sterile fields throughout procedures
- Cleaning, organizing, and restocking operating rooms and surgical supplies
- Ensuring surgical equipment and instruments are properly prepared and available
- Supporting surgeons, nurses, and other team members during procedures
- Following all infection prevention, safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA guidelines
