About The Position

The Surgery Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for coordinating day-to-day logistics of the surgery scheduling team and overseeing the utilization of department assigned operating room blocks. Responsible for assigning workloads and managing staff. Develops strategic initiatives to address OR utilization gaps. In addition to team and overall OR block oversight, this position will also schedule surgeries, communicate with patients, and communicate with physicians for a subset of surgeons in the department.
