About The Position

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate Surgery Scheduler to join its Women's Care Team. Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Surgery Scheduler ensures surgical cases are scheduled accurately using manual and automated systems. The role facilitates telephone messages and usage with a high level of service, assists with medical records management, and supports the completion of accurate medical documents. The scheduler maintains accurate records related to scheduling and patient documentation and uses automated systems to support scheduling functions. The position requires working under pressure and in situations requiring patience, tact, stamina, and endurance.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to relate to and work effectively with others.
• Demonstrated verbal and written English communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for personal growth and advancement.
• Awareness of operating room operations and surgical scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience is highly preferred.
