This function is the beginning of patient care and critically impacts surgeons, anesthesia, staff and most importantly the patients. As a member of Peri-operative services, employees should seek to anticipate the needs of our surgeons, patients, anesthesia providers and peers. Thoughtful anticipation is the key attitude employees should strive to achieve in all of their interactions. Employees should use this value to create a positive, helpful, and supportive environment for our patients to receive care.
