About The Position
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Heersink School of Medicine, Department of Surgery is seeking faculty candidates for an appointment in the Division of Breast & Endocrine Surgery. This role is open to both tenure-track and non-tenure-track positions. The successful candidate will contribute to clinical care, research, and teaching within the Department of Surgery. UAB is a major public university located in Birmingham, Alabama, with a significant economic impact and a strong commitment to research, evidenced by substantial NIH extramural grants. The university comprises 10 academic colleges and schools, including a comprehensive Academic Health Center. Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.
- Outstanding leader in the field.
- Highly skilled and widely recognized in the field with a strong track record.
- Substantial professional work experience in one or more areas of research, teaching, and/or service.
